The OpenStreetMap Mapnik Layer Tile server has been overloaded for a few weeks now. Sysadmin team have moved some faster disks around to the tile server which should improve the situation in a few days time.

I have a "fun" problem... When using JOSM with OpenGL on my nvidia video card, it semi-randomly bombs out, not fun.

This is the new API database server, installed in preparation of the 0.6 API migration weekend coming soon. Once migrated we are moving some hardware around to make the mapnik tile server faster.

Rechargeable batteries do not like the cold. If they are cold, they will run down VERY quickly.

Lithium batteries are the best in the cold. Unlike you'll be able to find any for the N800. :(
