LOL! :-) Oops, sorry, that's right - this is where I'm supposed to say Tut, tut, naught, naughty - that's Tagging for the Renderer which just isn't supposed to happen! As per osm.wiki/Tag:building%3Dschool yo should tag all of them as building=school, unless they've got a specific purpose such as gym, library, first aid room etc. As I said earlier though, good work with your efforts! Could I also suggest possibly signing up to the Aussie mailing-list: https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-au, which is a great spot to ask questions about how or what & nobody will rip your head off for doing so! Good luck with your mapping & keep having fun!

Valid points, all of them! I have raised the discrepancy in numbers on the AU mailing list but no real response. I'm not in NSW, but was always under the impression that the LPI Map was the Bible?

Yeah, saw that, but I can't see anything else that says it's actually still operational? It's not marked on the LPI Base map & I can't find any other reference on the RFS site. The only other mention I can find of it is an interview with the Captain in 2017?
