Ooops! Thanks - could have sworn I included the : on the Master, but obviously didn't. Branch is spelt OK though so not sure what's gone on there? Where did you find these? Did they report on the phone number formatting error? I'll go back over the last couple of days & check them all, as they'll all have the same error.

Yes, technically you are quite correct - mobiles do indeed actually have a 04 area code with a 8 digit number, but they are supposed to be written as 04xx xxx xxx, which then translates internationally as
+61 4xx xxx xxx. I know that akes them different to all other numbers, but have a look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telephone_numbers_in_Australia#Mobile_phones, which explains why!

I've noticed a few of your edits though, that have a problem with the address, such as this one.

When you enter the full address (number, street, suburb, state, postcode) all in the one field, it creates problems, especially if someone is searching for the address.

In future, would you please be able to enter them all in the correct fields?

& what's got me even more confused is that I have absolutely no memory of making these changes, & I don't map bike ways!

I can tell you that there is a marked bike lane going west along Christine Ave, & another south along Bermuda St. There isn't one, though, in the first part of the Christine to Bermuda link / slip lane, but there is a bike crossing part way along that lane, & the bike lane resumes from that point onwards. I don't know how anybody riding a bike is supposed to negotiate that turn?

I'm guessing that just returning the whole thing to bike=yes should fix it?

Thanks for that Peter (& sorry I didn't get back to you before now). All good - I think multiple ways in a relation may have been confusing me? There are some bits eg osm.org/edit#map=17/-28.88907/153.57240 where the "coastline" is half way down the beach, with nothing between it & the dunes. Is there any way of disconnecting the "beach" way from the coastline, & moving it further up the beach, so there's sand both sides of the coastline? Thanks, Graeme

Hi Peter. Have recently been doing quite a bit of mapping around Ballina area, but have struck a bit of a problem. For the stretch of beach from South Ballina to Evans Head, it appears that the beach has been marked in, outside the coastline? eg osm.org/edit#map=18/-28.88998/153.57092. Thanks for that Warin. In regard to the dog area osm.org/way/553680482, it does include the beach & the full south-east spit of Rockview Park, & is signposted & gazetted as such.

Just noticed the rather complicated double one-way driveway you created here & wondering if there's any particular reason for doing it like this? Yes, there are 2 x one-way lanes to enter & exit the car park from Trader's Way, but after that, it's only a normal 2-way driveway / parking lane, with a one-way exit onto Currumbin Creek Road. Hi, Can I ask where you got the information on re GCC Ferries, as to the best of my knowledge, there is (at least not yet) any such thing? I'm particularly curious as to how the ferry route would work in Varsity Lakes / Burleigh Waters, as you show them passing through a closed weir? Thanks

Hi. Part of it was shown as an industrial area, which is now a park & car park, & part as retail which is Council chambers, The Centre (which we were in) & the Council works depot!. The disused railway line was also an industrial area? Tried to break relations & so on to rename & re-position things but couldn't get it to work so just gave up, deleted then re-created them. Sorry if this creates a problem of some sort?

I did that on the Palm Beach Club & it disappeared off the map? Had it as either building=yes or building=commercial which showed normally, when I added club=sls it disappeared, then when I removed the club= tag it re-appeared?

Hi Warin. Sorry, at the time I thought there were 2 boundaries shown for Lamington / Springbrook National Park, almost but not exactly the same, so I deleted 1 of them. Turned out that 1 was for NP & the other was Gondwana World Heritage area, which is very close, but not identical, to the Park :-( I know better now! Entry re source being Bing wasn't mine - must have been the original user?
