Web version - mobile version - how long does it take?
Zapsal Francois555 2. 7. 2014 v jazyce English.Does anyone have an idea how long it takes to move data from the web version of OSM to mobile version (Maps with me)? I have been updating in several countries lately and I cant wait to see my changes in Maps with me! I has been at least three months since the first edit.

You have to ask MapsWithMe, they’re responsible for updates of their app. Unfortunately they seem to update rarely, like once two months.

The people behind MapsWithMe say on their website that they update their map files ‘approximately once a month’. In practice, my experience is that they only update their maps when they release a new version of their software which can be many months apart.
I suggest you email them at support@mapswith.me or provide this feedback to the app itself. It is quite a well designed app otherwise so it would be brilliant if they could find a way to resolve this.
As an alternative, you could try the OsmAnd app where you can download the latest off-line maps every couple of weeks. This app also has the advantage of providing off-line satnav navigation along with other features. The interface and rendering is a bit more clunky than MapsWIthMe but works well enough once you get used to it.
