ha! Apologies, I didn't realise I was speaking to the Laird himself :)

If you use the "Q" shortcut key in ID, it will make all the angles in the shape right angles, which I think would result in a tidier version of this building geometry.

Lots of number 11's, assume these are a copy/paste error?

new building geometries look a bit wonky - would suggest you use the orthoganalize tool in JOSM (ID has an equivalent) to tidy these up - it will turn all angles into right angles which I assume is correct here

Morrison St I agree is stands, thanks for correcting that, but here the bike racks are shin-high only-good-to-lock-a-wheel-too affairs so think anchors is correct.

Sadly not, I didn't survey, just reinstated the original tags having deleted the tagged node of the duplicate by accident in an earlier changeset

hi, nice work if you are new-ish to OSM as you profile suggests I might mention that both ID and Josm editors have functionality (q keyboard shortcut) which make all angles in a way right angles which makes building outlines much more accurate and speeds up adding them.

"Experience", no?

Why? Has the car park been demolished? Deleting it because it was drawn in 2007 doesn't sound like a good reason...

Hi there - welcome to OpenStreetMap. Noticed this changeset was flagged for review. Building geometry looks good, I would remove the name tag - you have all that information already in the "addr:" ones.

Also, the preferred addr: tagging would be against a node in the building outline which represents the front door to the property instead of the whole building outline itself - lots of others in the area use this convention so would be more consistent to follow suit.

Otherwise great job & hope you are inspired to keep on mapping.

This looks like fantastic data, but streetmap dot co dot uk doesn't have an OSM compatible license as far as I can tell so anything derived from that will have to come out again I suspect....

nice work!

Yes saw the social but can't make it this week, sorry. Have a good night.

ah, thanks - didn't notice all the building here have the addresses duplicated when I removed AR2

Oh, nice & good to know iD has support too.

If you are adding buildings I heartily recommend using the orthogonalize function in Josm which will in a single stroke turn all angles into right angles on a building outline. Can't see any sign of an equivalent in iD which is unfortunate if that is your editor of choice.

I think for trees, the name tag should only be used if the tree itself has a historical name, not to denote the species. See osm.wiki/Tag:natural%3Dtree

You seem to have also removed a closed way which denoted tree coverage in the park - any reason why this was removed?

Hi there - thanks for the heads up. I did tweak the parking slightly based on bing but it looked pretty much aligned to the imagery already - but will check the OSSV data for sure to make sure. The main thing I didn't get resolved was the building geometry - Deep Sea World itself obviously mostly sits underneath the car park so not sure how best to represent this - the building mapped as-is is only a tiny portion of the place itself.
