w400177650, south of this changeset was changed from secondary_link to motorway_link is inaccurate. The original secondary_link should not have been replaced at all, based on traffic direction flow and road connectivity

Hello @josepgpagatpat! Welcome to OpenStreetMap (OSM)

It's been noticed that you've been adding personal information to the features you've been editing on OSM. Kindly refrain from doing so, and roll back the changes you made. Let us know if you need any help with that.

Persona, and private information, has no place in a public database like OSM. You can other information, like housenumbers, streetnames, etc, but not personal information.

Cheers,

Kindly don't duplicate features that are already on the map by adding a second POI node of the same, just so it would render as as icons.

Hello @mataverderonnieASHSCOM

Kindly do not trace over features that already exist. These are best edited, to improve the geometry or attributes.

Thanks That protruding portion does look odd. Would love to know if can have more info.

Thanks for the edits.

Are the airport boundaries accurate? It seems that parts of the Morrow Boulevard goes inside the airport complex.

Kindly make sure that you trace the building outlines as accurate as possible, and that you don't forget to square building corners.

We know it's hard work, but we appreciate if you could make that extra effort.

This looks. Thank you for adding details and helping improve the map of your favorite neighborhood.

I'm curious though as to why you're randomly mapping/skipping buildings instead of tracing all the features within the area you're working on.

Awesome! Welcome to OpenStreetMap (OSM)!

Some of the features you've added we're done incorrectly, don't worry they've been fixed by other mappers. The osm.wiki is a useful reference for finding more information about mapping particular features.

The map we're working on is live, and could affect users who are involved in disaster or emergency response. So, try to be careful with the edits.

Also, find out the latest happenings, or interact with local contributors through these community channels: osm.wiki/PH/channels

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to get in touch. You might be doubtful about a particular tag, or would like to clarify their use. Or perhaps, you have ideas you want to flesh out to improve your neighbourhood map. Or maybe just want to know more about OSM.

Cheers,

Please avoid using the `hamlet` tag to add names near features. Add the name direclty to the features themselves, if necessary.

Hamlet tag are used for small settlements.

Thank you for your effort. However, these buildings needs a lot of improvement.

1. Avoid connecting buildings with other buildings (or other features, like roads, etc.)
2. Make sure to square building corners.

Also, try to tag features more accurately.

If you have more questions, please feel free to join any of the public community channels here: osm.wiki/PH/channels

Hi there. When tracing buildings, remember to avoid connecting them to other objects (buildings, roads, etcetera) unless they are physically connected in real life.

Buildings are rarely directly connected to roads.

Good work, @norbertombueno!

When adding farmlands, you don't need to add a place name that describe it's function (eg. "Ricefields"). Instead, add a tag crop=rice in the area that you digitized as such.

This image shows how "squared" buildings should look like. The two buildings you did earlier (red outline) still show the angular edge where you traced the rooftops, which we don't usually trace as-is.

Maayo!

You seem to be particularly interested in local schools, would you need any more assistance on this?

Ideally, changeset comments should describe the changes you made so that future editors can understand your edits better.

You need to tag the grounds as a school, and not as a separate node/point.

Buildings normally has squared corners, while yours edits try to follow the rooftop shapes, hence the angular sides. When mapping buildings, what we're really after are building footprints, and tracing rooftops allow us to, more or less, determine that.

I'll modify this changeset and you can review it yourself, to see how we conventionally do it.

If you have questions, or concerns, please do not hesitate to task. We have various channels you can try if you have questions, or wish to know more local mappers: osm.wiki/PH/channels

Hello @norbertombueno, and welcome to OpenStreetMap (OSM).

Hello Tee_jay 1631. Welcome to OpenStreetMap, and thank you for your contributions.

I noticed in your edits that you've been appending "®veoIII" to the features names.

Kindly refrain from doing this because those features don't have that string as part of their names in the real world. OSM is about creating a better map of our favorite neighborhoods, and we want to make them as accurate as possible.

If you're interested in determining what you've been adding to OSM, try this Overpass Turbo query: http://pygy.co/GM

Let me know if you need help redacting this string from the features you made.

If you want to get in touch with the local community, try: osm.wiki/PH/channels

Hi there.

I can see that you're diligently trying to map the buildings within this neighborhood, but you're missing the step where you need to "tag" the feature as a building
