Saying one large pier is limited to one fishing point is idiotic for anyone who owns a waterfront property. We don't sit in one spot.

70083715 over 6 years ago

So what's the problem then? If you were on a beach you would have more then fishing point for the same beach?

single thing.

Just because I may not have it thoroughly finished doesn't mean you should revert every si

How about instead of wasting both of our times on a park. Let me update, you chime in saying whats wrong. Give me time to review and change. Otherwise nothing will ever get updated and we will be in a stupid constant loop of nothing being updated.

A footway that is designated as a ground tag, is a proper tag for a park that doesnt have actual sidewalk footways. They were correct.

Tagging a bench, it was done as a point of interest. There shouldn't be anything wrong with using points of interest to label objects they do not have as area tags. It is used for various things including a address number.... This is an idiotic remark.

40 fishing spots. It is a 85 foot pier with a 20ft by 14 feet L shape. It isnt malicious it. It allows for people to see how many spots they can use for fishing and crabbing.

You guys are looking at things in a board range, when the map can handle more detail than you are willing to provide. Doesn't mean others shouldn't be allowed to enter more information.

70083715 over 6 years ago

It is important to label how many spots people can crab at.

reverting is doing nothing but delaying changes. The map is incomplete and should be finished. I am slowly working on my area. I have ADHD, I jump around because that is how my brain works.

You may want to read it yourself.

Define badly POI? People are entitled to added grass, separating townhomes since they have separate address. Allowed to add parking. What is the point of having all of the tags if you guys aren't allowing them to be utilized?

70054351 over 6 years ago

What was wrong with the updates? townhomes should be broken down. The sidewalks, grass, and parking should be identified?

70054019 over 6 years ago

What was wrong with these updates. town homes have different addresses and should be split separately. The grounds around the homes have grass and sidewalks and parking areas?

We should be labeling the benchs and bleachers as well. Because people can get hurt on them, and should have a contact for them in reality. 21st century, people are injury and lawsuit prone. Having access to the proper information, should be what is done on OSM. Which is all I was doing.

Mateusz. Unfortunately, the original mapping is incorrect. You guys have some grounds as not being public use and only school use. Which is where the problem is arising. Some school grounds as not being parks when they are in fact parks. With public signs and information calling out the parks. When I update, instead of people constantly arguing and reverting, you should know the location, if you don't trust a person that is near by to update properly. Instead I have this crap to deal with... Which is constantly reverting good updates...

"OSM is mapping reality, not selecting places for pokemon portals",

Get your stuff together and map stuff right we won't have a complain and edit your guys stuff.

Then you have people like Elliott, who say they work at the county, who would know the parks I am talking about are legit, when a normal person can go to the park and read a sign...

So act like I am crying over pokemon. But I am not. I know my area and updating accordingly. Learning the last few days where you guys have had months and years to do some of it easier than me.

OSM asks for operators! Operators for sports facilities are Baltimore County parks and Recreation not Baltimore county public schools. To properly update the map correctly, it should be allowed to be altered. When a person wants to use the fields, they need to call the parks and recreations, not public schools. When a person gets injured during using the fields they are supposed to call parks and recs, not the public schools.

Instead of assuming you guys are right. You should take a step back and think about it.

Just because Baltimore County is different, doesn't mean my updates are wrong and or you guys are wrong. In the end it is our duty to update it properly.

As in if they aren't listed as parks. Ones I know are listed as parks with signs in public should be allowed.

69997325 over 6 years ago

One more quick question. If the sports grounds are marked recreational on the school property you are designating, than pokemon portals should be allowed? or Shouldn't? I am fine with keeping it as is, and quit arguing. But if they are used for recreational purposes and people are visiting them, then why can't they have a pokemon portal?

I live in Dundalk. There are signs posted on the areas I am trying to change. If you would like check them out for yourself. But they should be changed to parks. I am only worried about my area, once it gets complete, On my spare time i can help others.

1. Logan Park (Logan Elementary)
2. Patapsco Baseball Fields
3. Bear Creek Base Ball Fields
4. Charlesmont Sports Fields
5. Charlesmont Playground area that you guys are listing as apartments.
6. Sollers Point Multi Use Center. (Previously Sollers Point Technical School.)
7. Delvale Baseball Fields (Norwood and Holarbird)
8. Del Rio Park Baseball Fields. (Sandy Plains Elementary)

You guys have some areas wrong and it should be allowed to be updated. Anything I do with these areas, you guys automatically flag, but don't even care you have it label wrong in the first place. OSM requires who operates it, because they are the point of contact to be reach for them. If you put the schools, than people call them to get a hold of them, they are going to say we don't know. It should be the Parks and Recreation department as the contact, which makes them eligible.

Times change man. Just because it was one way doesn't mean I am incorrect. You are just going off of what you knew previously. I can meet you anytime and take you around baltimore county and show you parks that you have labeled wrong.

69997325 over 6 years ago

Sweet. Than seeing a sign would change your opinion then?

69997325 over 6 years ago

Baltimore county parks and recreation operates all sports fields as parks.
