51792745 | 6 масех бутт хьалха | Thanks for your reply. I am not out for copyright violations, but just wondered how such a remote and exposed path found its way into OSM. Whenever you add a path in mountaineous regions that is not suited for tourists and children, you should add a [osm.wiki/Key:sac_scale sac_scale] tag. Good apps like Komoot then will warn, while your climbing path is described as "Mostly accessible paths". I have been alerted because a young trailrunner has disappeared (and truly has fallen to death) using your path: [https://www.argophilia.com/news/johann-williams-still-missing-in-crete/240344/], [https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61573093363960]. I guess it did not happen on your path, but on the well-tramped descent to Xyloskala, but anyhow he thought he was running on a comfortable round-trip path. |
51792745 | 6 масех бутт хьалха | You have added the path #521921266 on Crete. What is the source for this path? Have you walked it yourself? How would you estimate the difficulty (sac_scale)? Would you recommend it to normal tourists? osm.org/way/521921266#map=14/35.26479/23.92964&layers=C |

146281246 | 1 герг шо хьалха | You are playing with the life of unexperienced hikers. Such trails are for well-prepared experts (like you), but not for common OSM users. You should have added at least the warning you have sent to me. |
146281246 | 1 герг шо хьалха | What is the source for this path? Did you walk it yourself? A few days ago a German hiker ended here in serious trouble and died: https://www.gmx.net/magazine/panorama/sechster-wanderer-griechenland-gestorben-vermisst-39806926

65313384 | 3 месех шо хьалха | I had the same idea in the beginning, but OSM consensus is that guideposts are *beside* the path. Node networks are now very popular in Central Europe most for hiking and cycling (see osm.wiki/Node_Networks, osm.wiki/Cycle_Node_Network_Tagging). For a rendering example see https://cycling.waymarkedtrails.org/#routelist?relations=22327,2595546,8334326,9629629,11146857,1664664&map=16.0/60.8096/8.9915 (for testing purposes I have tagged a few nodes as "rcn", although the Golsfjell network is defined per community, thus "local". Unfortunately the map only show "rcn", the tagging standard in Netherlands, not "lcn"). Also note the guideposts *beside* the path.
