ich schlage vor, dafür nicht den Key highway
zu verwenden, es gibt Software, die das nicht als "nicht vorhandene Strasse" erkennt. Am besten einfach nur eine note.

If I got that right, most of the ways tagged demolished will not be rebuilt (at the same place), so I'd say highway=dismantled is better because it is used more often and it is documented in the wiki .
