I live in Mount Vernon, WA, USA. A small community located right between Seattle to the South and Vancouver, BC to the North. Mount Vernon is most noted for the annual Tulip Festival.
My OSM contributions, besides mapping, include welcoming new mappers in Washington State, being a part of the Pedestrian Working Group, member of the OpenStreetMap Foundation Data Working Group (That’s what the blue star is by name user name), and a member of the OSM US Governance Committee.
