Die GPS-Tracks automatisch nachzeichnen zu lassen, würde mehr Unheil als Sinn machen, da ein Programm nicht wissen kann, was dieser oder jene Track überhaupt ist. Straße, Fußweg, Pinkelpause hinterm Busch, Abkürzung übers Feld. ;)

Oh ja! Zeigt mal wieder deutlich wie wichtig ein "History/Revert-Mechanismus" ist. Echt schade, dass es da nichts gibt. :(((

I would happily let my PC render tiles if the stuff was easy to setup (and not needing to install so many things). The Virtualbox machine would be helpful (and of course being able to use the same login): osm.wiki/index.php/Virtual_Tiles%40Home

The (huge) drawback with the API "hack" is that it won't cover new nodes. :\

The area is/was very low on content. And since I am mapping/fixing most of it anyways I will simply delete those and create new "proper" nodes. It's not many, maybe 2% of all nodes in this area. Plus they are not "good quality" anyways.

Dem kann ich nur zustimmen, ich war am Sonntag stundenlang mit dem Rad "GPSen". Freue mich schon auf den Sommer. :)

Right, that was stupid. I thought the "save" button under the map would save its location as the coordinates, duh.

What I wanted to say is that there are lots of steps with bad GPS reception in this area. I walk each way multiple times and thus will probably become a muscly superman in the process. :)
