You are adding useless data. There is nowhere else in the metro Rochester area that is mapped with residential driveways the way this area is. It literally takes longer for the map to load. Google doesn’t map residential driveways. It’s stupid.

Whoever mapped this is not very smart and has not contributed anything of value to OSM. This is a private driveway and shouldn’t even be mappped in the first place. It’s obvious. Your comments are condescending and rude.

Show me another example of an area that is mapped like the section where I was deleting driveways? I’ve been using OSM for quite sometime and have never seen an area mapped like this. It is completely random. What makes the OG mapper correct? Just because you can see a driveway doesn’t mean it needs to be mapped.

It can only be improved by deleting the driveways that have no need to be marked.

Why are you the authority on this subject? Why are the ten other driveways on Millwood Court not marked?

Pointless. You are adding data that is useless. I work with data. Just because you have to ability to add data doesn’t make it useful. It actually takes away from driveways that should be marked. No one ever looked at a map and said “if only this clearly visible driveway was marked ten feet from a road.”

Marking driveways for the sake of marking driveways is useless data. Why are some driveways marked and others that clearly could be marked are not marked? What is the benefit. It also makes the map cluttered. Maybe to clearly mark a private drive not to confuse it with public road, fine. But to mark random driveways just to mark them is pointless.

That is not a residential road. It is a driveway.
