IWAI - Boyne Navigation is a sub group of the IWAI (Inland Waterways Association of Ireland). We are a voluntary group of enthusiasts which have dedicated our time to restoring the now derelict Boyne Navigation/ canal. We are the official agents of An Taisce (National Trust of Ireland) carrying out the restoration of the Boyne Navigation.

We don’t have any links to the statuatory authority in Ireland (Waterways Ireland) which looks after the waterways such as the River Shannon.

Our online presences as of writing are our website and facebook page but it is hoped to extend this to further internet mediums.
