Was on holiday for a few days in Stornoway so decided to try and fill in the missing roads and some of the surrounding villages. Managed to put in the dual names of the streets, apart from the ones that only have the old English signs on them. Coverage of Stornoway is probably now up to 90% with the remaining being the housing estate (Colditz) in the north east part. On my next trip I will try and map those streets, plus I need to try and finish mapping out the roads in Point.

The weather is nice so it must be mapping time again :)
Looking at the OSM map I noticed that the little town of Gorebridge had none of its streets mapped :( So have spent some time yesterday and today driving round the streets mapping it out. I am now about 95% done with the other roads that are missing hopefully getting added in the next few days.
Also added some roads that were missing in Stow, as it was on the way to Gorebridge, but I am still missing a few of the smaller roads so need to get back there and finish it off.
Over the last few days I have been filling in more of the white space that is around Lauder as well as more back roads between the A68 and the A7.
Also decided to bite the bullet and map the residential roads in Lauder, which was not as bad/hard as I feared :) So now Its done I will probably do Earlston next and then possibly do some more "random" road driving in Galashiels.
Did some check mapping around the A720 Bypass and down the A68 to Fala, adding a missing link road to Fala Dam and adding that hamlet as well. Also did the Blainslie back road from Lauder to Earlston.
Problem I just noticed is that with my Garmin eTrex, if I save a track and then clear the active log it removes all the timestamps :( So all my traces for yesterday and today are no good for uploading.
Remapped the Ford to Whitehill road, adding in those villages as well as Edgehall. Fixed up the A6106 A68 junction as well as the A720 A68 Junction. Also, since I was in the area, I mapped the B709 Heriot road and some of the village roads.
Yesterday I mapped some more back roads from Lauder to Stow and then mapped the Stow to Pathhead road. Later on I mapped the B6368 Gilston road. Today I mapped the roads around Oxton and then did the B6367 Crichton road. Also mapped the new road layout at the A68 to Dalkeith junction.
As my first foray into updating I added a couple of missing vilages (Middleton and North Middleton) and mapped the B6458 Tynehead road and the B6362 Lauder to Stow road.
