The paved road from the summit of the Passo di Gavia all the way to Bormio is now fresh asphalt.

The road from here for next 75m is dangerous with evidence in a few places of subsidence with breaks in tarmac. I cycled this road to Paularo on 24/9/24

The section of road from Ponte di Legno to Bormio over the Passo di Gavia is all paved road. The section from the sumit of Passo di Gavia is now laid with new asphalt. I cycled this route on 6/10/24
