Upload gps data without tagging them?

Can I upload GPS data without tagging them?
I mean, I want to drive throught my city by car and bike and offer the raw data to openstreetmap - but I have not enough time for give streetnames etc.

And an other Question... When I go on a way twice, is it recognized by openstreetmap.org - or did I have than 2 lines on a quaremeter?

You can upload "traces" here. osm.org/traces No need to tag them. Someone can take them and draw ways.

You can show traces when editing in potlatch for instance.

... it can be even a good idea to go a way twice with your gps-device. It can be more exact. Sometimes a recorded track can vary because of buildings or trees along the street. Have a look at your track when you have gone a way twice.

For general questions have also a look at the http://forum.openstreetmap.org

I tend to go ways twice. Once on either side of the road. This helps to average out errors of the GPS and alleviates the fact that you don't travel in the middle of the road.

When you go a way twice, you will get two ways, not one, but that's not a bad thing as the others have said. If you don't have the time to properly tag your ways, you could still help naming streets etc. by using http://openstreetbugs.appspot.com/
