98150106 | over 4 years ago | No worries. It's a great app and really helps improve the map 😊 |
98150106 | over 4 years ago | Oh no that's fine, if it's local knowledge, it's fine 😊 I asked because StreetComplete sets `source=survey` which implies that the information was gathered from own experiences. Which by the sounds of it, you were using knowledge from own experiences so I'm happy enough 😊 Welcome to OpenStreetMap. I would like to apologize if I come across as brash, I should have been asleep at that time. Be sure to check out the country pages for Hungary and United Kingdom for local editing guidelines and links to community pages if you wish to join 😊 |
98131479 | over 4 years ago | Why did you delete the original object? |
98150106 | over 4 years ago | How could you have possible surveyed Manchester and Békéscsaba at the same time? |
98177512 | over 4 years ago | Ooops! |
98195804 | over 4 years ago | The offset for Bing is 5.08; -0.90 at Canterbury East Station. I've not done everything, and there are loads more to go, but I was mainly testing. I don't think I'll be taking Canterbury on as a project. |
97866932 | over 4 years ago | Hi Colin, I was following the suggestions of osm.wiki/Key:ref:gss for E43. I have noticed a few side effects of this edit which is making me seriously consider reverting it. For example, routing in Margate is broken on the standard OSM website. The reasoning for my motivation behind this edit was noticing that Margate was not included in the Thanet relation. I'm beginning to think adding r9355762 to r1605596 and deleting r12216178 would be the best solution. Re: the bit about Margate and the locals, as a local from Margate, I'd consider these borders to be true 😊 |
86359388 | over 4 years ago | Would this be better under a sponsor=* tag? |
97913917 | over 4 years ago | Some further reasoning for this change: When new member_states join, they can simply be appended at the end of the list. |
49408571 | over 4 years ago | Noted! That makes sense 😊 I'm gonna add "St. Nicholas at Wade" as official_name or legal_name (I think the right tag is official_name, I'll check the wiki before I make the final edit) |
49408571 | over 4 years ago | Kinda curious here re the change to the name of St Nicholas-at-Wade and why it was changed to St. Nicholas at Wade in this edit? |
96868450 | over 4 years ago | TeePee-for-my-Bunghole? |
78293272 | over 4 years ago | Hi sorry if I come across rude. In fairness on your part, your delivery driver might have been fulfilling the delivery to the store on a weekend so might have been instructed to drive into the playground for all I know. |
97123279 | over 4 years ago | Oops, shouldn't have picked Random on Maproulette. I'll focus in one area next time. |
94030527 | over 4 years ago | In this edit, you removed valid data from osm.org/way/171620362 and osm.org/way/171620363 Please read osm.wiki/Tag:highway%3Descape |
66792948 | over 4 years ago | What is OS_OpenData_CodePoint? Is it a database of postcodes we can use? |
78293272 | over 4 years ago | This is a children's playground |
96605250 | over 4 years ago | Hi Dan, I can confirm it is still there. I took a picture and have just updated the node with the latest information. J |
96021370 | over 4 years ago | So not for when there's fences blocking pedestrians from reaching the road then? |
96797290 | over 4 years ago | The tag was added by StreetComplete after it asked me if pedestrians are allowed to walk on the road here. Since the northern edge of the road was a fence which is already drawn and the southern edge of the road has definitely has a fence in the past (need to resurvey if it's still there) I knew there were physical restrictions in place to stop you from walking on the road, so I clicked the option that said "No, pedestrians aren't allowed to walk on the road." |
