Hi, thanks for surveying and resolving the note, bet you left the tgas on node #695863615 which was the nod in question. I think it's probably safe to just delete that node entirely

This object made it into the Pokemon Go overworld map, well done.

(They use old data to avoid vandalism like this but I guess this didn't manage it this time.)

I made a few mistakes here but cleaned that up with c109584717, c109584110 and c109584069

Looks like some other area got caught by the validator from earlier edits which I then also fixed it. Most likely Brenley Corner as that had some duplicate segments

Hi Talkless,

Good question and good point.

To answer your question, I can't remember. It's been four months and don't recall my reasoning.

I'll stick to the slash from now on

Airport tags all have disused:* prefix as the airport is indefinitely closed, but easy to get back up and running if they decide to reopen

Hi it's a new tag similar to opening_hours:signed. It means the phone number is not physically signed, but it might be available online. It's meaning is basically "don't waste you're time surveying on person" but that I haven't looned online for a number - yet.

That was a mistake, thanks for pointing this out

Oh I can't be sure then but the interview was for Onyx Insight and they said "Nottingham University campus" and they used to be called Romax so I put two and two together and made a guess 😊 Obviously if your surveys tell a different story once life returns, feel free to update this :)

Sadly I didn't get the job.

Hi Jerry,

I had a (zoom) job interview for them a couple weeks ago and they mentioned their office or run from their campus.

I do know the office is currently closed due to COVID-19 so that might explain the lack of furniture outside. I believe tiny plan on reopening in May

Ooops, I was just splitting the changeset up otherwise it would have been one big International changeset.

Sorry if I caused offence

The large majority of these objects used naptan:Bearing=* in place of direction=*

naptan:Bearing is a UK-based import tag so this usage was incorrect.

There was also a lot of naptan:AtcoCode=* in place of ref/route_ref

A few other incorrect usages were identified and fixed where possible too.

Hi, I reverted you edit here: osm.org/changeset/102054292

naptan tags are an import tag in the UK and shouldn't be used for anything else

Hi, I had merged it with osm.org/node/7359917955 so that's why it said deleted, but I moved the data back onto osm.org/node/7359917960 for your satirfaction

101519435 over 4 years ago

Oh that's just embarrassing! I'll take a look in the morning and fix any instances of this mistake

Oops, my bad, which node?

96021663 over 4 years ago

osm.org/way/136164600/history used `landuse=traffic_island` which is an abandoned tag, the wiki page suggests to use `traffic_calming=island` on a node instead. I'll be honest, I've never seen it used on a way before but that's not the tag that was in use

"until you deleted it and many surrounding features" - no features were deleted unless it wasn't possible to reuse the node or way. I joined the road into one line as the road isn't physically separated, I then added lane counts, added connectivity relations and later redrew the car park as that was incorrect too.

"I notice that you have also been deleting sections of pathways with the adjacent golf course, and then retracing them - the approved method of making improvements is to adapt the original, not delete other peoples work." - I'm not sure which paths you mean. I deleted a few pathways which aren't visible on imagery. It looked like the car park had been redeveloped to I simply removed a path that doesn't exist anymore.

I'm not gonna revert my changeset. At the very least I could consider restoring osm.org/way/136164600/history with the correct tag (`area:highway=traffic_island`), but since the road shouldn't be drawn as two lines since it's generally not separated. It would be a bit redundant without mapping the whole road with `area:highway=*`
