84502157 | over 5 years ago | Yeah I thought about handling these this manner, but I’m concerned about not properly representing a main line. |
78489168 | over 5 years ago | * You will some discussion on this topic in the talk page |
78489168 | over 5 years ago | To be consistent, for the time being I feel like one should use `motorway_junction:ref=` to go with `highway=motorway_junction` when referring to exits.
78489168 | over 5 years ago | (You will see J-numbers being used to refer to the entire interchange in the UK. Exit numbers are meaningless to use in this respect, and they don't cover entrances and entry-only connector roads.) |
78489168 | over 5 years ago | First of all, I think there's some issues with the Wiki. It is a "in use" key only, and the associated proposal is only in draft stage and is very old.

84318018 | over 5 years ago | Please notice the connection with Mt Sterling Mall. It is considered a road/carriageway. The `_link` terminates there.
84316800 | over 5 years ago | You deleted `name:zh=`
84313361 | over 5 years ago | This section is not designated Expressway.
84305629 | over 5 years ago | I take the view that Lei Yue Mun Rd is a continuous main line of `highway=trunk` here, with either side forking off. It was somewhat agreed before there can be `highway=trunk` with `noref=yes`.

84304145 | over 5 years ago | Quite many considered that when a road ends, the roundabout should take the lower classification of the connecting roads.

84223914 | over 5 years ago | Welcome, but don't remove the name of that building next time. At the very least, you can add a note. osm.org/changeset/84266858
83260524 | over 5 years ago | Please don't abuse areas. Use `area=yes` for big omni-directionally navigable areas, and `area:highway=*` for linear areas. Ways are still needed for routing and representation. `highway=pedestrian` + `area=yes` means an area where motor vehicles can travel in all directions, unlike `area:highway=pedestrian`

84129307 | over 5 years ago | But now I realized osm.org/user/Brian@Brea/ should be active. Maybe you can message him again now with your original message? Add that we started discussing it once more here. |
84129307 | over 5 years ago | Since you already contacted the creator, I suppose not. He can make a response easily if he wants.
82474872 | over 5 years ago | Oh thx I guess. I was going to take a look some time. |
83985546 | over 5 years ago | Also what's with Ma Yau Tong and Tsui Lam?
84129307 | over 5 years ago | I would wonder if we need this relation
84049481 | over 5 years ago | Can you explain where do you get `ref=N`? Also use `crossing=traffic_signals` and others instead of `crossing=marked`.
83985546 | over 5 years ago | Don't use `natural=water`, and don't remove `building=*` from enclosed reservoirs.
