86081887 | about 5 years ago | I changed osm.org/way/87021631/ and osm.org/way/255891762 if that's what you are asking. |
86081887 | about 5 years ago | >Some editor cuts the trunk link when there is a intersection after leaving the trunk road, even thought that intersection is for bus to leave the bus terminal."
86147803 | about 5 years ago | For historic reasons, `highway=motorway` is special, so it has to be handled by `highway=motorway_link`. Oi Shun Rd ends at Tai Hong St, and this is a four-way intersection. |
86190167 | about 5 years ago | >As normally people wont leave the highway and immediately enter it again, and I am just observed from other similar case in different places of hong kong. I just think trunk link acrossing sha tin wai road is inaccessary.
86189633 | about 5 years ago | I did. You need to use `access=private` or `access=no`. See osm.org/way/111601696 |
86189633 | about 5 years ago | Concerning left-hand diverge from a left-hand curve, it would be more realistic to put it at the end. This reflects the off-connection properly. It is also not a lane at the taper upstream. This may be considered a developing parallel diverge if so wished.
86189633 | about 5 years ago | Also please don't split un-divded road - use `change:lanes=`, `turn:lanes=` (and relation:connectivity if needed)
86189633 | about 5 years ago | `_link` follows the classification of higher class road, with continuity. Other tags are also used for your purposes, as they have been corrected and refined recently. What do you mean by `highway=service`?
86190167 | about 5 years ago | Again, continuity of `_link` needs to be observed here. Use other tags as has been tentatively tagged here
86193562 | about 5 years ago | This is not endorsed. Continuity of `_link` is required. Alternative tags are used for these. |
86081887 | about 5 years ago | I would explain further that dangling `highway=motorway_link` ends you may see in eg Airport Rd -- North Lantau Hwy is from historic reasons. For unumbered strategic and major routes (ie `highway=trunk`) sections, `noref=yes` and `highway=trunk` can be used. Kwai Chung Rd -- Ching Cheung Rd is considered a fork, especially because of the boundary of Route 7 defined across Kwai Chung Rd. |
86081887 | about 5 years ago | Also, notice the `noref=yes` on Kwai Chung Rd -- Ching Cheung Rd |
86072023 | about 5 years ago | Thanks
86081887 | about 5 years ago | Check again now, the only thing you did correct is Roundabout 4 via Kwai Chung Interchange to Lai King Hill Rd. |
86081887 | about 5 years ago | “Many roads should not be trunk link" Explain this? Do you know how are they classified, or how are Tunnel area treated?
86072023 | about 5 years ago | Are you sure? Is it changed recently? It is two-way to access the carpark of Sunway Gardens osm.org/way/86222953 |
86081887 | about 5 years ago | Please use JOSM's replace geometry function instead of deleting the object outright and redrawing it. |
86081887 | about 5 years ago | These are a bunch of wrong classifications.
86071844 | about 5 years ago | Can consider relation:connectivity to be clear. |
86071844 | about 5 years ago | This is not correct. See osm.org/way/714996652. `change:lanes=` and `turn:lanes=` are tagged, and a no left turn restriction is used osm.org/relation/10686309.
