This is an obvious mistake for "Shop 13" which should be corrected accordingly...

4. Please stop adding names to `=coastline`

3. Please don't blindly romanize names into `name:en=` when it is not commonly used yet. Use `name:yue-Latn`.

137492903 about 2 years ago

Please notice this is a `man_made=beacon` not something else. `name=` is also the common name in public use now.

There is nothing about `turning_loop=` in the wiki either. And now I justify myself by adding my own documentation. osm.wiki/Proposal:Roundabout_details#Turning_circles_and_loops

137481802 about 2 years ago

So unless you can provide an alternative to show this explicitly, this is not a productive edit.

137481802 about 2 years ago

Also you are destroying information as although these `=turning_loop` are separately drawn now, they aren't shown to be one.

137481770 about 2 years ago

Look, I'm one of those who started using `turning_cricle=` for the shape. So you can ask before your edits. Never edit something because wiki says so. It is not the iron rule. In the initial development, only shapes are documented to be used. This doesn't mean there is a clear wrong or unspecified usage.

@os-emmer Please take a closer look as wiki only stipulates its usage with `highway=turning_loop`. There is nothing wrong about using it when it is separately drawn.
I feel `usage=` is a better solution for `=unclassified` and `=residential` not having a `=*_link`. It may also be used for frontage roads and other types of roadways.

Please notice that `=permit` means it is always granted, not a "permit" in UK sense.

2. Please understand that `name=` is the most commonly name currently in public use. They have already been added in `alt_name=`.
3. Please add Cantonese romanzation in `name:yue-Latn=` only. Don't use `name:en=` unless it is commonly used in English.

137019847 about 2 years ago

This is very critical. Please pay attention that `=coastline` and `=islet` are different concepts. This duplicates with osm.org/relation/12922955 already existing. Don't edit `=coastline` lightly. This breaks the map.

Will there be no island for the mid-block crosswalk in the future?

What has changed about the constructions?

@mueschel Is there a mistake? I don't remember having used `official_network=`, and I would strongly opposed to it now. They are in Taiwan, and I haven't touched those objects. It started in 2014 https://osmcha.org/changesets/25280748/ (before I even registered) and corrected in 2021 https://osmcha.org/changesets/110163561/ for all the uses reflected in https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/api/4/key/chronology?key=official_network seemingly.

Please don't make it a `amenity=hospital`. This duplicates with the the entire hospital. It is to be changed to `building=hospital`.

Please avoid deleting to re-draw. Try to move them to the correct side.

136814953 about 2 years ago

Please don't add `name:en=` when the name isn't widely used in English. `name:yue-Latn=` have already been used to show this is the romanization.

(although you have already made a `=stop_area`)

Would be better to put KMB's long names with the location prefix in `official_name=` (reserving `short_name=` for estate names and such) , as `name=` is the common name. As a side benefit, renderers and applications can group the same name stop from Citybus using the same `name=`.
