When you are doing a worldwide mass retagging, you can't simply go "I have given my argument and am not really in the mood to continue the discussion." . There's a responsibility to bear.
`lit=yes` is generic. It doesn't say whether it's lighting up at dark only. It would include at least `=24/7` all the time , if not more.
`lit=yes` is an initial level of detail. This is affected how most people may not care to add anything more than that. It doesn't mean the Denmark users aren't allowed add `=sunset-sunrise` themselves.
Your question of `=sunrise-sunset` for eclipse can be asked. But it needs to be asked first, not only after making the edits.

Please don't use `route=road` for these. That's for numbered routes only. Then again, `type=street` is still not widely used, accepted, or supported.
The related original `=assoicatedstreet` for collecting addresses doesn't really work. It's frowned upon by many.

1. Please don't blindly merge different sections. They are split for a reason,
2. The legal gazetted street name is " Tuen Mun Chek Lap Kok Tunnel Road", not " Tuen Mun Chek Lap Kok Tunnel "

Reminder: `name=` and `place=` are the existing common name and concepts in public use, not what you think should be correct or proper. Put historic names and locations in OpenHistoricalMap, not OSM. Discuss with the community, where the Discord server (https://discord.com/invite/CyG9zte) has been made available in OSM Community Index for a long time already, and there is a wiki project (osm.wiki/Hong_Kong).

4. Please don't delete `landuse=` when you draw `building=` . They are different aspects.

1.
osm.wiki/Names#Name_is_the_name_only
osm.wiki/Names#Names_are_not_for_descriptions

155768420 12 months ago

1. Please don't add such descriptor label to `name=` , which is for proper names only. It's not necessary to add `description=` , or anything here either.
2. Please use `bicycle=` ``=private` , not `=yes` , if only residents can be inside riding a bike. Accordingly for 1, `access=private` can be set.
3. There's no need to add `horse=` in HK. It has no use.

155787407 12 months ago

3. As mentioned before, please don't delete something that you haven't even drawn back

155787407 12 months ago

1. Please don't use `building=warehouse` for the entire land. The `landuse=industrial` should be kept.
2. Please don't delete `=greenfield` for empty cleared land

155786452 12 months ago

Please don't directly delete something that is being reconstructed. You should change it to `highway=construction` .

155767884 12 months ago

Please don't use such descriptor labels in `name=` , which is for proper names only. `description=` has already been added.

152523735 12 months ago

Please only use `building=office` for buildings. `office=` should be used for actually offices inside.

155565161 12 months ago

Please don't delete diagonal `=footway` on a scramble crosswalk. You are removing info.

150326255 12 months ago

2. You need to enclose `building:part=` inside the `building=` . If they are outside for any reason, you need to create a `type=building` with them as `part` and `outline`

155542787 12 months ago

Please don't merge sections of `=footway` around `=steps` . They are either top & bottom, or the intermediate resting platforms.

155517592 12 months ago

Please don't blindly merge different sections. You removed a `covered=yes` here.

155514085 12 months ago

As mentioned before, please don't change `=traffic_signals` to `=crossing` . You need to adjust them to create a separate `=crossing` point.

155490974 12 months ago

Please don't move a `=give_way` upstream of a `=crossing` . This is basically never the case, and is misleading whether it is for the crosswalk.

155489775 12 months ago

Please don't delete `crossing=no` . They indicate where there isn't a crosswalk.
