I believe this is still the name as shown on maps. So the ground truth principle could be applied.

The `name=` of a `building=` should refer to what it is, not what it's functioning. Hung Hom Station is the whole complex. Exit C concourse is still correct.

Please understand that `=unclassified` means a minor road at the lowest level that has collector & distributor functions according to UK classification. `=residential` should be used for local streets.

Please don't delete other objects without understanding what they are. Don't blindly follow warnings and suggestions.

Please check again. This is a `building:part=` . There is already a `building=` here.

156395488 11 months ago

Please check carefully, and don't add duplicate `=reservoir_covered`

2. Please don't remove `building=` . That's a different aspect.

Please don't remove "Hong Kong Waterworks". That's signposted.

Please don't do such fiddling test en masse. You forgot to add back `pipeline=substation` here.

156394136 11 months ago

Please don't change `=service` to `=industrial`

Reminder: `name=` and `place=` are the existing common name and concepts in public use, not what you think should be correct or proper. Put historic names and locations in OpenHistoricalMap, not OSM. Discuss with the community, where the Discord server (https://discord.com/invite/CyG9zte) has been made available in OSM Community Index for a long time already, and there is a wiki project (osm.wiki/Hong_Kong).

1. Please don't remove the address. It is still assigned.
2. Please don't use these project names directly. `name=` should be a proper name, that's similar to what will be used when it opens.

I meant it's better to avoid adding `crossing:island=` `=yes` or `=no` for divided roads entirely. Both aren't clear.

It's not "ideally". It's required.
Only Denmark has discussed it. You can't re-do it worldwide unless you discuss it.

!. As I warned you, please don't delete something when you haven't fully replaced them.
2. Please don't delete `landuse=cemetery` when you add `cemetery=grave` . They are different aspects.

2. You need to be especially careful with flyovers for `=street` . Many of them don't have gazetted street names. They won't have street name signs. The street name signs will appear for ground level only. I believe this is the case for Kowlooon City Roundabout. They only have `name=` for routing or common sense (which can still be doubted as there other possible names for them), or to improperly fix warnings. So they might only be included in the `=highway` .

"undiscussed" is referring to "undiscussed mechanical edits". It needs to be discussed beforehand, not afterwards.

155676983 11 months ago

Where else has it been discussed, and what's the "consensus"? No one here agreed with you.

156262744 11 months ago

Please avoid adding `crossing:island=no` for divided roads which has been split. The status of them is unclear.

I would like to mention using `route=highway` for this would be perfect for the purposes in HK. I believe there are actually no "street name" for it. Only the tunnel structure is named for itself, and for Tunnel Area according to the Road Tunnels (Government) Ordinance. Government records seem to have a mistake, or procedure problem.
