That's fine as the simplest case, where there is only one single continuous line. But it fails with anything more, and needs to be explored further. Eg someone could draw in even more detail for different parts of it. The arrival and departure are on different floors, and there's an inclined section in between (the departure splits into 2 sides, so 3 parallel lines). If all of them have `=jet_bridge` (eg 12 `way` in total) , it would be very confusing and complicated.

For the use case, the "number" of jet bridges can't be counted by doing this, and `aeroway=gate` doesn't have tags for remote stands and lack of jet bridges yet. Applications would render multiple icons for them.

As adding multiple `aeroway=jet_bridge` didn't seem the best for different sections, if it means a single "bridge" as in `man_made=bridge` . It should be one unique feature.

1. Please use `highway=construction` + `construction=elevator` , `construction:highway=elevator` ; not `opening_hours=`
2. Please use descriptive upload comments, not meaningless gibberish numbers

This duplicates with the `aeroway=jet_bridge` areas. Someone has drawn both the fixed and moving parts, so they need to be distinguished.

Graphhopper is very crude. It didn't even support multiple `via` until last year. https://github.com/graphhopper/graphhopper/pull/3030

There's an open ticket for this, not merged yet https://github.com/graphhopper/graphhopper/pull/3122

There's not really any reason to u-turn here, without any access roads or other parking (except the Hoi Wang Rd `bus_bay=` ). Going to The Austin should turn 3 lefts from Canton Rd northbound, or direct right turn on Wui Man Rd northbound from West Kowloon Station. Also no guidance is signposted.
The `=*_link` makes it resemble a `junction=jughandle` . A `=*_link` usually has no parking either. If it's not considered as an internal road part of the `=bus_station` facility, it could be `=residential` / `=unclassified` , instead of the `=service` previously.

1. By the logic, those sections of CLK Rd functions as a exclusive connection to those `=motorway` ? What's the difference?
2. This was exactly debated many times before. But the case of Expressway and Tunnel Area here requires special treatment with `=motorway` and `=motorway_link`

166928952 2 months ago

1. It's also "mainly or exclusively for pedestrians." with a `vehicle=yes` case. There's even a `=destination` case which could simply be `=residential` etc, as is what's used in HK now . Clearly, your interpretation is not only how it's used. osm.wiki/Tag:highway=pedestrian#Examples
2. Can you give examples of such routers? The argument doesn't hold when `=pedestrian` can indeed allow vehicles. They should still evaluate any `vehicle=` / `motor_vehicle=` / `*:conditional=` first.

Is this actually intended, or is a side effect?

166928952 2 months ago

`=pedestrian` can still have `motor_vehicle=yes` . It simply means pedestrians is the main functionality.

It's essentially a `=motorway` spur in all but street naming. If you haven't noticed, Shun Long Rd itself is not actually an Expressway or Tunnel Area either, but only connects with them.

166755667 2 months ago

The extent of a street is not well-defined in HK. Connector roads still get gazetted and signposted as that street (using street-name signs), including interchanges and slip roads. So yours still result in an inconsistency with the westbound from the diverge of Shun Long Rd to Shun Fai Rd.
I'm not discussing Sun Fai Rd. Symmetry is not a must. It doesn't necessarily correspond to reality. What we are discussing is the sections of CLK Rd only entering or exiting a `=motorway` , thus it should be reflected as a `=motorway` or `=motorway_link` . It acts an extended slip road. See Hung Tin Rd only connecting Yuen Long Hwy.
