This might have been spam IF this was a one off hit to increase traffic or sales. But this is not the case. This is an offer of freeware software written by myself for those who enjoy plotting and managing waypoint information as well as those who wish to navigate with 3D waypoint information. Why didn't those who felt it was spam write to me first and check?

I didn't write to you first because, whenever I wrote to people that posted something that looked like spam before, all I did receive back was - as you probably guessed - an automated reply containing more spam. So I have given up writing. In the last weeks we have seen several posts a day by new users, telling us they like the site or something similar, a one pr two sentence vaguely map related message and a link to a commercial website. I would say that your post resembles that pattern quite a lot.
