Hi. I oversee trail maintenance for the C&O Canal Great Falls area. This section of trail is closed (the section marked) - the trail was re-routed closer to the river a few years ago. The trail labeled "alternate" is actually the OFFICIAL trail. We have huge issues trying to keep visitors off the closed section. It matters due to rare and sensitive plant species and wildlife habitat we are trying to preserve. Would it be possible to remove the closed section from the map here?
