can we remove these gates?
The routing with garmin gps's goes wrong because of it and I checked 2 borders close to here and they do not have gates at the border either on the osm map.
I did drive through and I cannot recall if there are actual gates.
However if there are, I am pretty sure that the other borders have them as well. So should we add gates to all the borders and make routing over the usa mexico border impossible for garmin devices ;)

I know that the underlying problem is in the garmin software which should recognize the fact that acces is allowed. We can't change that software though.

the best of the roads in this area are dessert unpaved dirt roads as far as I know.

Just take for example route 88 a bit more to the south, that is a graded dirt road. And that is one of the fanciest around there

I saw some rendering errors for the yangtzekanaal on the garmin maps generated from osm. I fixed that, but I also noticed some other waterbodies that were sloppy.
Maybe somebody would like to go over the bigger area here and fix some polygons(connect them to each other)
And fix the tags.
For now the temporary waterbody maasvlakte2 needs to be there until in somewhere around 2020.
