OSMTracker only produces 3GP audio which is not supported yet in Ubuntu. The AMBR audio codec could not be included for patent problems, apparently a compromise has been found and I will be able to listen to such sound files (without hacking its support into Ubuntu) in a couple of months when I upgrade :)
