Also someone is deleting powerlines that do exist in the real world.

I was gonna say, there are suddenly a bunch of random straight roads going in all directions.

For the recent “straight line” vandalism, see https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/the-osm-standard-tile-layer-looks-wrong-white-lines-abusive-comments-etc/111583/305 . If you are aware of other problems (deleting data etc.) please email data@openstreetmap.org .

The irony is that the vandal is ukrainian. Not helping their cause at all.

Comentèro de Keio7000 lo 16 June 2024 a 08:49

Someone already corrected this, but I guess whatever hacktivist is responsible is doing this for the Ukranian cause.

Reading the different streets littered on the map I saw (bad words ahead):

  • Russians f**k kids
  • 520 000 Russians died during the [Special Military Operation]
  • Russia die already
  • [Russian Central Bank] s**t everyone
  • Russians are monsters
  • Russia is a landfill
  • (you get the idea)
