Schön, dass du hilfst das Tagging in Metzingen zu verbessern! Es freut mich, hier einen zweiten sehr aktiven Kartierenden zu treffen.

Zum Jack Wolfskin habe ich eine Frage:
Ich erinnere mich nur an Outdoorklamotten, keine Ausrüstung wie Campingkocher etc. Dafür muss ich immer nach Reutlingen fahren :-o

Nicht verwenden. Wird Outdoor-Bekleidung verkauft, verwende stattdessen clothes=sports. Wird zusätzlich Outdoor-Zubehör verkauft (für Camping, Wandern, Bergsteigen etc.), verwende stattdessen shop=outdoor.

There seems to be several issues:

1.

- wrong phone number
- opening hours on sunday?!?
- website is for the county, not the county council...

2. Changeset size - please don't change Pois in France and est Asia at the same timea
One general recommendation: changesets should be local.

To avoid conflicts and as a courtesy to reviewers, it is recommended to:

• combine changes in a small geographical area (within a city, district or province)

• keep changes within the same country

• upload/save changes before moving on to map in a different area

Why? Have a look at the section
"Geographical size of changesets" on this wiki page:

Darf ich mir drei Bemerkungen und zwei Fragen erlauben?

1) Schön, dass du die vielen Adressen eingetragen hast :-)
2) Für mich sind die Parkplätze parking=street_side und nicht parking=surface (in iD vermutlich Parkbucht statt Oberfläche?)

(Osmose würde bei deinem Mapping motzen, dass Einfahrten zu den Parkplätze fehlen - aber nicht alle Osmose-Fehler halte ich wirklich für Fehler)

3) Um die Historie zu erhalten, wäre es nett, wenn du den ursprünglichen Hausumriss teilweise für eines der Gebäude wiederverwendet hättest.

Frage 1: Wieso hast du die Grundstückszufahrten gelöscht? Jetzt fehlt sinnvolle Information. Statt Einfahrten wären aus meiner Sicht einzeln gezeichnete Parkplätze eigentlich sogar besser, wie du es ja bei Haus 1 gemacht hast.

Frage 2: Die Ausstülpungen bei Haus 1 und 7 sind Einzelgaragen? Oder Carports?

I travel this road almost every day by bike and I am quite sure there is no sign that forbids using that road by bike, horse or on foot.

One could discuss is one should tag "use_sidepath", see osm.wiki/Tag:bicycle%3Duse_sidepath
That is probably correct, if you enter the road from downtown Metzingen. Coming from Maienwaldstraße, however, there is no sign legally forcing you to use the separate path.

What's your opinion?

Changeset discussions enable us to ask why things were changed or give hints on how to improve the mapping.

Concerning this changeset, I wonder what's the basis of your change. Have you seen any "Zeichen 254" that explicitly forbids cycling? That's how it looks like:

Or did you set "no bikes allowed" because the road seems too buisy for you to safely bike there?

Remember that we map the legal access restrictions, see:
osm.wiki/Key:access
"Access values pre-eminently describe legal permissions/restrictions and should follow ground truth, such as signage or legal ruling, and not involve guesswork. It does not describe common or typical use, even if the signage is generally ignored."
Furthermore and if I remember right, there is no signs near that road that forbid walking or horseriding. Mapillary supports that:

Note that (in contrast to USA?), in Germany, you are allowed to walk on the road even if there is no sidewalk.

Hallo opsmand,

Brouter suspects hat mich hierher geschickt. Das folgende Straßenstück kann laut deinem Tagging in beide Richtungen befahren werden. Jedoch gibt es am westlichen Zipfel keine Zufahrtsmöglichkeit. Dadurch wird es als "dead-start" klassifiziert.
Das kann darauf hindeuten, dass das Stückchen als Einbahnstraße getaggt werden sollte oder dass ein Anschluss fehlt.

Ich war kurz davor, die Einbahnstraße zu taggen, bis ich gesehen habe, dass das nördlich angrenzende Grundstück vielleicht der Grund ist, dass die Einbahnstraße erst näher beim Kreisel anfängt. Kannst du das mit deiner Ortskenntnis entscheiden?

Im letzteren Fall könnte man die Grundstückszufahrt mappen.

Further questions: Is there a street name?
Is the gate only opening for residents? Then one could add access=private to the gate and the appropriate part of the service road.
