I was looking around for aerial pictures of my area because the yahoo-pictures ar enot usefull for my area.

I found highly detailed pictures of my province (Limburg) and also for another province (Oost-Vlaanderen). The link to he pictures for Limburg are here: http://www.limburg.be/giskaarten/frameset.html?../navigatielinks.html&../navigatie.html&index.html

GIS-Vlaanderen has aerial pictures of all the provinces I believe, but I prefer the ones from the site for my province specifically. They have more detail for where I looked (or seem to be clearer).

The nice thing about the pictures on the Liburg-site is the following text at the bottom of the page:

* Digitale geografische gegevens hebben geen juridische waarde en kunnen in geen enkel geval beschouwd worden als officiële reproductie van originele en analoge juridische documenten.
--> The geograhpic data has no value in terms of the law.
* De kaarten hebben een zuiver informatieve en indicatieve waarde. Er zijn geen garanties wat de actualiteit, correctheid en volledigheid betreft.
--> No guarantuees regarding correctness and completeness (little les s nice, but I suppose ... they are quite ok). We have the source-tag in osm ...
* U hebt het recht de kaarten te consulteren en voor persoonlijk gebruik te downloaden. Voor reproductie is altijd voorafgaande toestemming vereist. Verdere informatie kan u bekomen via e-mail: gis@limburg.be.

So, it seems if I download the maps (don't know how I could do that ...), I would be able to use them personally. Ofcourse, the better thing would be if we may reproduce them or connect to their server for openstreetmap-usage. I may contact them in the future, but then I also need to know how to integrate the maps in at least one osm-tool. I prefer josm ...( I run pure 64-bit linux. Flash doesn't run so wll yet.).

Anyway, it would be nice to be able to contact all the provinces that have such a collection and maybe also gis-vlaanderen and ask them if may we reproduce them, ... for openstreetmap-data.
