153412333 | about 1 year ago | Well this appears to be a private street not maintained by Hampshire County Council and therefore shouldn't have a speed limit tag applied unless signs explicitly state a speed limit. The National Speed Limit applies to public highways. |
153412333 | about 1 year ago | Hi, are you sure this road is 60 mph? |
152907146 | about 1 year ago | I fail to see how deleting all correct information on multiple ways is relevant to anything |
152907146 | about 1 year ago | Why did you delete all the information on some roads? |
153109837 | about 1 year ago | Is this 30 mph now? I remember there being national speed limit signs at the northern end last time I visited. |
152619411 | about 1 year ago | The access restrictions were correct on all city streets before. I am reverting this. |
152755303 | about 1 year ago | The access tags were correct here before, verified personally. I am reverting this. |
152193932 | about 1 year ago | I've had various conversations about this before, and I don't think there's any consensus about whether or not speed limits on adjacent public highways extend to unadopted roads, but I think more often the answer was they do not. In any case, not signing a speed limit means there is definitely no wrong information present. |
152174385 | about 1 year ago | Hi, the correct tag for a single carriageway road under the national speed limit is "maxspeed:type=GB:nsl_single". Please remember this for the future. |
150336370 | over 1 year ago | Excellent, thank you |
150336370 | over 1 year ago | Thanks, I noted this while fixing maxspeed:type tags a few days ago. Needs a whole resurvey. |
149992725 | over 1 year ago | Well given the tag applied, you must have selected the "It's within a (slow) zone" option when answering the quest, which marks speed limits signed by zone entry signs like this https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:UK_traffic_sign_674.svg. For 30 mph speed limits, if in an unlit area you can select the "sign" option when answering the quest. For a lit area, choose the "no sign, defaults apply" option and answer the following popups. |
150269316 | over 1 year ago | Is there a reason why you chose the zone sign when answering the speed limit quest in StreetComplete, given 30 zones do not exist in the UK? |

148112676 | over 1 year ago | That is peculiar, since I have never seen anything regarding this as a non-primary road here, including signs, maps, etc. I might clarify myself where exactly the primary roads in Hastings are. |
150336370 | over 1 year ago | Are there signs with 60 in a red ring here? |
149992725 | over 1 year ago | Hi, the tag maxspeed:type=GB:zone30 is incorrect. Please do not use this tag. If the road is lit with a 30 mph speed limit, use maxspeed:type=GB:nsl_restricted. If the road is unlit with a 30 mph speed limit, use maxspeed:type=sign |
