According to the air-traffic obstacle list of UK, there is at Glen Pean, Scotland at 56 56 55.30N 5 28 48.20W a powerline span with a maximum ground height of 439.8 metres ( 1443 ft). Does this span really exist? If yes, it would be the highest span in Europe!

There are several spans in Norway that must be of similar heights. For example spans crossing Sognefjorden, Storfjorden, Sunndalsfjorden among others though I am more interested in underneath clearanse (maxheight:marine)

As I know, these spans are longer, but not higher.

Sounds impressive. This is higher than the Peak to Peak Gondola at 436 meters above the valley floor. http://ww1.whistlerblackcomb.com/p2pg/experience/
