Interesting ... can you provide some examples of the spam because I've not come across it myself. Also, is it in the map or in the wiki? Thanks for educating me and the rest of the readership.

It's usually right here in the blogs-tab with ppl advertising their pubs or whatever they might try to sale. Recent spam messages have been deleted as it seems, probably because there were like 10 or 15 of them in a row.

I saw a lot of it on Dec 14. It was typically by a user that was created within 5 minutes of the diary entry being made. I agree that it has been cleaned up now [Thanks admins!], but having a feature that made it easily tagged without admin intervention would be nice.
