Omnecal is a public transportation information system that aims to provide transparency, punctuality, and comfort to users of public transportation. By tracking the data of the public transportation service ecosystem using our otrack and opay systems and storing it in the Omnecal system, we can provide real-time information to users through our Omnecal Public App using OSM mapping technology. This app allows users to view information about public transportation such as the nearest bus stops, bus schedules, estimated travel times, and fare costs for their desired routes. Additionally, the Omnecal system includes a portal for traffic departments to monitor the activities of public buses and ensure they are following rules and regulations, as well as an app for bus owners to track their services in real-time. By implementing the Omnecal system and collaborating with the government, we hope to improve the overall experience of using public transportation in Kathmandu valley.
