A Paper Map collector.

I like to use OSM maps for road navigation. Often computation of routes in the area of my hometown fail due to missing information like

• maxspeed
• limitations eg. hgv limitations for trucks or conditional limitations
• missing mapped barriers (on railroad crossings) etc.

So this is my current mapping “work” collect and map maxspeeds and limitations.

I use several OSM based navigation systems on Andoid to check the routing an if a routing fails, I try to find the mistake in the map.

I also use some proffessional navis to check Osm routes against “common” routes. (Navigon, Garmin Nüvi etc.)
