Mapa budiž odrazem světa, nikoli jeho předobrazem: neschovávejme ošklivost pod mapu fiktivní, ač pěknou. (Jinými slovy, nedělat z mapy omalovánky “takhle by se mi líbilo, aby bylo; sice není, ale aspoň si to nakreslím do mapy” - možná to VYPADÁ líp, ale nestane se to pravdou.)

Let the map reflect the world, not define it: let’s not hide the ugliness under a fictional, albeit nice, map. (In other words, don’t map your wishes - they might LOOK better, but they don’t become true.)
