Have you have missed some Points Of Interest on the map because their icons are not rendered? Visit http://www.lenz-online.de/osm/, move the map to the desired location, select the POIs which you want to see... and you get them.

This program is now renewed, enhanced and updated. There is a new toolbox for your choice of options, it also contains some additional informations and a link to my description page (English and German).

Any help (e.g. tests with other browsers than FF and IE) is welcome.

The local newspaper "Uusi Rauma" reported about me and my contribution to OSM. Because I mapped a big part of Rauma (Finnish westcoast), and I did it from the scratch, and I did it quite alone.

I started to write a program which shows an OSM map and let the user choose which POI icons he wants to see and how big they shall be:

At the moment, only 4 icons are available. And the map works with Firefox, but refuses to work with IE or Konqueror. I hope I will have soon time to debug this issue.

Today I improved my Coastline Download Tool. Not it can analyze whether the nodes of a closed loop are arranged clockwise (= lake) or counter-clockwise (= island). All closed loops are considered beeing islands and (if necessary) corrected.

Today I finished my tool which helps you to map highways. You simply create the lane which you have logged and let my tool shift it to create the lane of the other side. You find it on my website http://www.lenz-online.de/divers/mapping.htm

Created many 100 kilometers from Bangkok to Nan and from Bangkok to the Khao Yai National Park.

Today I started to create the city map of Rauma (West coast of Finland).
There is a lot to do since I am quite alone here...
