I've calculated the route with Mapbox now as well and it looks like it has a weight restriction applied on the Kaya Grandi road: https://ibb.co/Zp20sL46 This is using a default profile which uses a vehicle weighing 2.5 metric tons, whereas the maximum weight on the section of road is 2 metric tons according to Mapbox.

The (max)weight property is not on this road in OpenStreetMap so I'm not sure where it's coming from.

It's possible there was a weight property applied on the road before which is difficult to see in OpenStreetMap once it's been removed. In that case it may be caused by residual caching in Mapbox and it's very well possible that it suddenly works in the future.

In any case, I think it's best to wait for a reply from Mapbox on this.

Thanks for your reply and no problem. It's good to know which problem you're looking to solve.

I don't see any apparent issues on this section of road that would cause a detour.

I've looked in Osmose ( https://osmose.openstreetmap.fr/en/ ), a quality control tool for OpenStreetMap but it does not show any routing issues along or around this road and intersection either. So I'm wondering what Mapbox says about this.

The only warning in Osmose was that the highway type was not consistent with the rest anymore so I've changed that and outlined it a bit better based on the most recent satellite images ( You can find that on https://www.beeldmateriaal.nl/dataroom-caribisch-nederland and use it as a custom background in the editor, for instructions for that see https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/dataroom-caribisch-nederland/123206/5 )

Can you elaborate why you removed the speed limit on this section of the road? There is an actual speed limit on this road as it's part of the urban area (max. 40km/h) and you should not remove valid tags, you can of course update them if they are incorrect.

Hi Ducci, I've changed this edit of yours a bit in my change set #159867069 and tagged the street name as official_name property (See: osm.wiki/Key:official_name ) to better reflect the local situation where the non-official name is more commonly used on these streets.

Hi VLD549, I don't think we normally include the name of the town in the name of the bus stop itself. As you changed the name of the bus stop from 'Geitenbergweg' to 'Geitenbergweg, Dieren' on node 3864725065 as part of this change set.

Bedankt voor je opmerking! Ik zal de stukken die ik gewijzigd had van forest naar shrubbery terugmappen naar forest. (Ik was in de veronderstelling dat dit de juiste tag was omdat het niet als bosgebied beheerd wordt zoals ernaast, maar regelmatig door de gemeente wordt gesnoeid, maar dat ligt inderdaad subtiel anders.)

Ik had voor veel stukken uit de omgeving wel gekeken of er recente wijzigingen waren maar doordat de bushalte hier ook nog helemaal op de verkeerde plek stond dacht ik dat ook dit stuk al even geen aandacht meer had gehad, maar dit heb ik inderdaad niet in detail bekeken bij de verschillende elementen, excuses!

Looks good! I've removed the noname=yes tag from the element in changeset 137879834 since the road has a name. I've also added the names of the other roads and some development roads north of there.

Dank voor je reactie! Het is niet toegestaan het gebied over de brug in te wandelen, die barrier=yes heb ik niet zelf toegevoegd, maar stond er al in dacht ik. Er is soort hef/draai-constructie om het middelste deel van de brug omhoog te zetten.
