148779918 | 11 months ago | Not intentional. Accidentally selected with the removal of non-existent 'parking space' polygon along Adres Soriano Avenue. Restored already. |
148488873 | over 1 year ago | Strava in Intramuros is not reliable on all streets (with some concentrated on one side, eg. Muralla). Sorry not aware (or forgot existence) of the DATUM drone imagery. Had initial issues with buildings encroaching roads (with rendered width using josm's plugin) trying to visualize approx width of cycling and sidewalks. With ESRI's limitation being too dark/unusable on westside, while Bing being blurry or roofs covering the road; Compromise solution was to use both imagery on top of each other while doing a best-fit where on the most symmetrical strava heat lines nearest G.Luna Triangle side - to get a common workable centerline, but ended up moving the buildings (so as not to have conflict with road width, until you reminded me about Datum (oops) - which is way way easier to trace and without hassle for the purpose of remapping those new cycle lanes and narrowed/reduced car lanes in Intramuros. |
67770265 | over 6 years ago | Local knowledge as de facto accessible. My general observations in Philippine local roads (in my 32 years of driving), especially in unmarked roads, I see cyclists do counter-flow with safe assumptions that they are allowed unless otherwise prohibited by a signage or pavement markings. (Cyclist being considered pedestrians on wheels and not as motorists) ...same as "In the Netherlands, most one-way streets are two way for cyclists, although this is not always marked by a counterflow lane." :-) |
62190537 | almost 7 years ago | Obviously a typo. Sticky keyboard. Thank for pointing :-). |
58054876 | over 7 years ago | Nope, nothing about changeset comments. I just saw the notice on my email (with a link). But Maps.me did asked me if I'm looking for a hotel, haha (it's starting to commercialize) |
58054876 | over 7 years ago | No Idea. IDESS directional street signs along roads. (It's a maritime school). This particular building is just one of the many https://www.idess.com.ph/ |
55642770 | over 7 years ago | I did not add additional access tags (that has to be verified). But with fair degree of certainty (from newer imagery), the edge of roofs of houses on the street occupied by informal settlers won't permit vehicles to pass thru (to err on the side of safety). Instead, the affected street polygons with these occupants were tagged with landuse=residential. By the way it looked, they will stay there for the next few years, until they are demolished or resettled somewhere) |
44582414 | over 8 years ago | The new is SM City East Ortigas. Th front-side of the building was extended towards Ortigas Ave Ext. and there's a new transport terminal building on the N-E corner. I'll will try to draw the approx shape later. Been there twice, but not to map :-) |
36171625 | over 9 years ago | I'm testing admin level 11 on neighborhood (looks like nobody has never been used this in PH): if search-able, and how will it be described on nominatim (eg. as village, county or just another administrative boundary?); how is it rendered (visible dotted lines)? Or should barangay be admin_level=9? so that there will be no need to propose to add admin_level=11 for purok/neighborhood. |
11677428 | almost 10 years ago | thanks. in case you find another highway=boundary in one of my old edits, feel free to change to traffic_sign=city_limit. I used the former (unofficial tag) to differentiate village boundary from city/municipal boundary (for custom rendering of an osm-garmin map in the past) |
31388023 | almost 10 years ago | corrected (highway=residential). thanks |
29696927 | over 10 years ago | Nope. I just renamed all mispelled 7-11 to 7-Eleven. added opening_hours=24/7 to all branches. (mechanical edit) I did noticed the ref but didn't bother to look at the values and left them alone. I suppose it's either the Store_ID or branch name? Anyways, please verify later. If there's any accidental deletion of something important, just revert the entire changeset, no problem. |
