A mistake, yes. Originally that path was drawn going through a building. The QA tool suggested tagging it as covered. Then I realized I should correct the building position, but forgot to remove the covered tag.

Hello! The new mapper had also asked for help to fix his mistakes here: https://discord.com/channels/413070382636072960/782593988611014676/787786587912142879 I checked each change with PeWu and fixed the mistakes I found in this changeset as well as osm.org/changeset/95772979 About 4 hours after I had done this I was informed of his other thread in the German forum.

Thanks for catching that. I removed the unwanted MassGIS tags in osm.org/changeset/94813876

I just finished updating all the admin boundaries in the state to conform to the 2019-09 MassGIS boundary lines a couple weeks ago. But yes, for boundaries that go over water we use a different data set. You can see those lines on the USGS Topo map. The wiki recommended setting up a separate boundary relation using the land_area=administrative tag if you want land-only borders.

Wow sorry I never got any notice about this. I have no messages in my inbox after July 2019. Thanks for fixing this!

OSMCha flagged this for a "dragged node" - I assume for the node that stuck out on the NW. First: That is the actual boundary on the parcel map. Second: It was like that before I edited the southern area, I didn't touch that node. - Third: I unfixed the fixing of my fix in changeset 72211678

Perhaps he was concerned that this is mapped as conservation area but in reality it is a hazardous waste site and entering will get you arrested? I will try and map it with more appropriate tags. see https://www.hanover-ma.gov/home/pages/fireworks-site

I have no idea why mapbox flagged this for profanity

69018281 over 6 years ago

Mapbox flagged this because I deleted the single traffic signal and instead created a signal on each incoming way.

This changeset was flagged by Mapbox for deleting a critical feature (Node 358227065). This was a gnis imported node for "Rocks Nose" island; After I had properly tagged the "way" for this island (osm.org/way/82311128) and verified it was being rendered, I deleted the duplicate node, since there is not supposed to be both a way and a node for the same feature.
