There is no longer a usable service road between Whauphill House and The Mill. It has been fenced off just to the WNW of Whauphill House and is now totally overgrown with vegetation. Whether is/was a public right of way is unknown. It should not be shown as a through route.

There is an Amazon locker, "Renya", at this location. It is blue and the lockers are opened for a specific order by using the Amazon app and a Bluetooth connection.

This unit is becoming a convenience store called "Day-Today" with opening hours of 06:00 - 22:00 seven days a week.

A speed limit of 40 mph was introduced on the A71 from approximately this location in the west to some 500 m to the east of the entrance of Dalmahoy/Dalmahoy Road junction.

Gate across this track. Held shut with a simple chain and hook (21/07/2018).

Gate across track but not locked (21/07/2018).

Gate locked with chain and padlock. Encountered this on 21/07/2018 on recumbent trike and found to be impassable! It was better to stay on the B6355 when heading NW.
