OpenStreetMap
Facebook uses a filter to limit distances for interested items. Example the search will only take results from this area. Would someone be able to get the distance in kilometers please. Currently it is only in miles.

If you’re asking for a feature change in Facebook then I’m afraid that you’re going to have to ask Facebook for it.
Facebook uses (some) OpenStreetMap maps (in some places), it is otherwise unconnected with OpenStreetMap in any way.
