The bus route no.15 has been modified and now does a complex loop at its western end, taking in Craigiebuckler Ave, Countesswells Avenue, Airyhall Ave, Craigdon Road then return to Countesswells Rd.

This area is being redeveloped with new homes being built and new roads constructed.

A massive new housing development of 3,000 homes is being constructed at Countesswells over the next decade by Stewart Milne Homes. Roads are being closed, new roads built and some roads realigned. This is causing great transport disruption to the local community at present and in future. This area will need complete remapping in due course.

Craigieburn House has been demolished, and replaced by a modern development of flats called "Beeches Gate"

Ten large detached houses have been newly constructed here, in a close called "Hazledene Manor"
