OpenStreetMap
Nils Peterson and I invested quite a bit of effort into Wayfaring as a mapping tool. They abandoned the project and left us with no way to recover our investment. OpenStreetMap is a much better choice. The data are open. This post demonstrates the potential. iTeam members seem to be excited about the potential.

They provide a tool to edit the entry as well as editing the reference map.
