All class AA roads from AA00 to AA35 (AA000 to A35) are maped/verfied/updated as “trunk” roads. Total lenght of these roads are close to 3700km. Planing to map/verify/update class AB, AC roads as “primary” roads and the proceed to class B roads as “secondary” roads. Do not know how log it will take to complete. I appriciate any support from user communitiy for this task.

Nice work!
Interesting road numbering scheme Sri Lanka seems to have.

no offense but i think some of B class roads need to be updated to primary too . since past few years most of roads well upgraded , since our road ranking system little bit old we need to consider this too

Hi Thilina, Yes I agree with you. I just followed “Road development Authorities (RDA) Numbering schema. I think we may look at each road case by case and decide about the road class. Sometimes it might be difficult to judge the situation just by satellite maps available, we need some local knowledge too. So appreciate input from local commuters. Also There are roads partially developed. For ex : Colombo - Horana (B84) road. Its being developed (upgraded to 4 lanes) only up to Kesbawa (halfway between Horana and Colombo).
