Why is there no Key for the cycle map?
What's the use of having all these cycle roads with colours, dashed lines etc. if there nothing listed in the Key? Would somebody who knows how to do it, add update the cycle map Key. Thanks.

Apparently someone thought it was a good idea back in 2007 as well. I can't believe that there STILL, after all these years, no cycle map key/legend. How do you do it? How do you make a key/legend? Somebody must know how.

Thanks, but who wants to keep going to that page all the time (not me), these should be added to the actual map legend/key, which is currently empty other than the text "Legend for z10".

Hi Scocasso,
Refreshing the legend on gravitystorm is on my personal todo list. If you would like to see the legend improved on the main www.openstreetmap.org web site, then please add a ticket to trac.openstreetmap.org and someone may get around to it.
As for why it hasn't been done in all the last two years, it's because I'm often busy with my day job, and there are usually more urgent tasks like trying to keep the cyclemap server running!
