Based on terrain observations on August 24 and 28th 2020 I am very doubtful that a path can exist here. Where this way crosses the cardinal pass route, no trace of it was visible.

Having passed here August 24 I am very doubtful that this east-west connector exists at all.

Based on local visit on August 25 & 27th 2020, I am fairly certain that this upper trail does not exist. I will confirm upon my next visit and remove then.
