"The names should be restricted to the name of the item in question only and should not include additional information not contained in the official name such as categories, types, descriptions, addresses, refs, or notes."

Can you link to the discusion you mention where no one is supporting the OSM policy?

Hi @AndersAnderson, As you know Systembolaget is the government owned chain of liquor stores troughout the Sweden. When searching for one I saw inconsistencies like: Some named supermarket or general store, I updated those to be Liquor Store. Most of them were named just Systembolaget, however about 20 of them were inconsistent with their naming. In general they had the city they were located added to their name. The front of their stores also says "Systembolaget" and not "Systembolaget <whatever>". So I decided that it would be more consistent to remove the additional naming from the short_name.

Maybe a better place for this additional name would be the branch tag
