Hi,

If you want to 'improve' the mapping than please don't put some random triangle against a building, some kind of 'somewhere here', and draw it in the proper place and proper size. Very good imagery is available to achieve this. I've done this in the meantime as you connected it to a building with a relation which requires extra care.

TIA.

Hi there

could you please review the tagging and routing of the SS81 through Chieti centre? The reverse route seems missing along Via Guardiagrele, piece of Valligniani and Piazza Garibaldi. The way has been tagged as primary before for a reason.
Cheers.

Just noticed making out the quadrant of the CG that something was 'touched' there. Been there once, my sights not set on non touristic features :o)

Few weeks ago I saw photography on streetview of a 'secret' military base of which you can see the radar dome from 15 miles away, sitting on a hill top. On the fence it said every 10 meters 'no photos'. Someone did not get the memo.
PS why do I/we have to see your change set that touches on few points from San Francisco, via Paris to Hong Kong somewhere in 1 edit set?.

There's more signs with arrows what vehicles to take which way, compulsary, no, but you risk to get stuck in narrow corners and low roofs. Since the paint and side lining is yellow, it indicaties temp. Expecting a height restrictor with prohibition signs as many stations have.

100988465 over 4 years ago

Yup, motor cycle needs adding. The sign is quite literal plus paint on way 'autovetturi' Will amend tags for the 2 wheelers

Hi,

The street name on the 118 node does not match any name of a way in the neighbourhood. Should the node streetname be retagged or has the name on Strada Statale in front to be adjusted? Since 118 refers to Nazionale nord and e.g. the Michelin guide refers to Via Nazionale Nord, I think the SS16 section there needs renaming.
cheers

Actually i'm misreading. It was me who made the typo in the first place.
Sorry. Ltr can go.

96145760 over 4 years ago

If the Comments is direct at me, by my recollection i only corrected a flagged tag typo as described in the CS Comments in that change. The tag says = 0.05 Ltr but if euro is default and metric too i.e. Ltr then Ltr is probably a redundant suffix that can go. Cheap though as it reads in hindsite, 1 liter for 0.05 of water.
Ciao

Thx for resolving this. The cycleway=right was wrong for sure as the way was drawn east to west and the painted lane is on the south side going west to east i.e at minimum would have had to be cycleway=left. Your solution now renders in the cycleway view on the correct side, but the wiki recommends to just use cycleway:left=lane, the road is 2 lane, bi-directional for public transport and right of the bus lane, where it would be on a regular street too. Anyway, as the saying goes...
Have a nice day.

PS more cycle way under construction at the Mercato Coperto, railway side and a cycle bridge at the Francavilla harbour as part of the Ciclovia Adriatica AND an ebike charging station was erected on Piazza Ovidio ready to open (fees due). If my reading is right, there's going to be 10 of those stations in Pescara. Certainly the first I saw in the whole of the Pescara province.

Absence of signs. Then Streetcomplete asks. Are you sure? YES i am. Did not feel it was lower than default cycling past today.

Would have expected routers to be smart enough to direct to the Piazza side since that is the main target but hey. Anyway as i already mapped the main entrance moved the address in there and drew a path to the wheelchair friendly revolving door and will keep the poor people in mind (have, since i've been mapping main entrances on big buildings, churches and the like with pathways).
Cheers.

The saga continues: They finally completed the paint job from lungomare along D'annunzio to the junction at Via Pantini, a proper job this time, a cyclist can actually feel safe on these, but then this news popped up https://www.rete8.it/cronaca/234pescara-3/ and by jove, cycled all the way, but did not see anything resembling this. A different Pineta maybe. Meanwhile, a billboard has appeared on the Sparto side the size of a cinema screen, but all the work is just the roundabout. Tagged the sport spitch with an actual Piazza name per sign and added a huge statue of Pope Paul IV. On the Tortora side the fence is back, but not a meter of ground has been turned over, just service road works where the new building was raised at the Sparto side. More cycle way in the making. 300 meters towards Porta Nuova station. Found more unmapped painted cycleway today, will add. 200 meters 1 meter wide paintjob directly against a wall side... better not make a steering mistake. As the acronym goes YCMTSU.

Hmmm, unless this is in the wiki and approved i consider this fyi. Also what if the square is tagged as a routable pedestrian area too? Many are!

Thanks for adding the amenity=townhall tag to the building, but why did you remove the address?
ciao

Never new Norway had claim to an island just off the Antarctic,so I scrolled over and it does look like a Nordic name on there. Quite a surprise.

Hallo,

Why did you delete the area on Via Villa Magna that was tagged as Soggiorno Proposta? The name may have been in the wrong place but that does not change the mapping of the area. It's very much in use per aerial imagery of 2020.
cheers.
